Tumbado (short for Corridos Tumbados ) is a modern Mexican cultural and visual aesthetic derived from the musical subgenre that fuses traditional Mexican corrido music (often Norteño or regional) with contemporary urban sounds such as rap, trap, and hip-hop. The visual style, which is often referred to as "Regional Urbano," is a deliberate combination of traditional Mexican instruments with a hip-hop "gangster" attitude.

The movement was pioneered in the late 2010s by artists like Natanael Cano, who is credited with coining the term corridos tumbados . The genre and its aesthetic have since achieved massive international success, breaking the geographical boundaries that once contained Mexican regional music to the northern regions of Mexico and the Southwestern United States.
